Emerging from depictions of motherhood, these double images create kaleidoscopic, Rorschach-like compositions, changing the narrative in both open-ended and explicit ways. I initially explored this motif for the color and the questions it provoked; happily, this exploration led to my collaboration with LUCIA on HELD.
